Welcome back to the Something Better, My Darling podcast. I am here to help women find their purpose without compromising their values, and ultimately reaching their full potential. Whether you are struggling with self worth, confidence, or lack of taking action, this is for you! I am so glad you are here! I can’t wait to get to know you!
I wanted to take some time today to tell you a little bit more about the journey part of Something Better, My Darling. If you’ve listened to the previous podcasts you might have some ideas of what this is all about, but let’s talk nitty gritty. You know why I started Something Better, My Darling, and my mission, but let me tell you how we are going to accomplish this! That’s important, right? I want you to take a journey with me. I call them journey’s because I don’t like the sound of a course. That makes it feel very sterile to me, and the journey I am asking you to take with me is definitely not sterile! It will be messy and hard, and fun, and exciting!
Here is the breakdown. It starts with a 40 day journey. It is 40 days for a specific reason. First, it took me 40 years to find my purpose. Second, 40 Biblical significance. Moses, Jesus, and Elijah all fasted for 40 days at some point in the Bible, the Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years, and the earth was flooded for 40 days. I am positive that if God can make the entire earth new in 40 days, He can change you too!!
Alright, so 40 days. We will start with a virtual meeting. Journey sizes are limited to 20 right now because I want us to be able to intimate with one another and really have time to work through everything we need to get through. The meetings throughout the journey are called checkpoints. We will have weekly checkpoints. In between these checkpoints you will be filling out your workbook. I will send this to you before the journey starts. You will need to so a page in your workbook each day! Some days are shorter and easier than others. Some might take you a little while as you dig back into the memory bank.
We will look at your self-limiting beliefs, truths, what is holding you back, and finally how to break through and get you to show up as the person you were designed to be! There are some fun surprises along the way too! This is the process I went through, and I am amazed everyday in how quickly your life can turn around and you can truly be the person you’ve always wanted to be, and the person God designed you to be! Well, I’m not going to promise you that you’ll be a rockstar if you sound like Alpha from Little Rascals, but….you get the point!
This podcast will also support the course work. I document my process through podcasts because I like to talk more than write. Ha! Funny, since Something Better, My Darling will also be a book. I’m writing that now!
And guess what, this will continue to grow and develop. Right now I am focused on women ready to take massive action, struggling with self-worth and confidence, but as this grows, I will also work with younger girls, because we all know that with social media they are some big hurdles ahead.
I know this was a short and sweet episode today, but I really just wanted to give you a better picture of what is in store for you!
You will hear me say this everytime…Maybe you are ready to take this journey and start taking massive action to reach your potential or you could be trying to decide. Either way, I am so excited to have you here! My soul is on fire to help you!
